Working the Street with the Fuji X Pro 1 a picture post.

DSCF1806

The Fuji X Pro is for me the perfect street camera. Small, light and unobtrusive and it has some great glass to go with it. Its focusing system takes a little care from the photographer to get the best results and it may not be a fast as some on the market but it makes you work with it which I like.

The color is great and the ”negs” convert easily and effectively to BW when needed. The JPEG out of the camera are simple amazing and I only rarely find myself needing to use RAW.

Any camera system is really only as good as its lenses and FUJI make some of the best. I find myself using 2 basic primes, the 18mm f2 and the 27mm f2.8 Pancake. I have 2 X Pro’s so keep each lens mounted most of the time. Both lenses are extremely good although underrated by some. I also use a couple of old adapted Nikkors (MF) which give excellent results.
